چکیده

Abstract The sustainable management of the environment and crop production in modern agriculture involves dealing with challenges from climate change, environmental pollution, depletion natural resources, as well pressure to cope dependence on agricultural inputs. Balancing productivity sustainability is one main for worldwide. emergence weeds resistant synthetic herbicides generates huge economic losses, so unconventional weed control strategies, especially those based ecological principles, are very much needed agriculture. Incorporating a eco-friendly approach—allelopathy—as tool an integrated plan by growing specific crops or spraying fields extracts containing allelopathic compounds can significantly reduce use herbicides. Allelopathy considered multi-dimensional phenomenon occurring constantly anthropogenic ecosystems, which organism produces biochemicals that influence growth, survival, development, reproduction other organisms. objective this systematic literature review present comprehensive overview allelopathy, define phenomenon, classify allelochemicals. This paper also discusses highlights recent advances, ongoing research, prospects plant allelopathy practices applied agriculture, underlying mechanisms. suggested holistic view some allelochemicals approach important contribution future research directions multidisciplinary programs, chemoinformatic tools, novel biotechnology methods breeding.

Allelopathy as a new strategy for sustainable ecosystems development.

Natural products involved in plant-plant and plant-microorganism ecological interaction (Allelochemicals) are an important potential source for alternative agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals, in order to solve the many problems derived from inadequate culture practices and abuse of synthetic herbicides. Isolation, structural determination, bioassay techniques and applicability for these compound...

Towards Sustainable Agriculture: Challenges and Opportunities

The environmental impact of agriculture cannot be ignored. In many countries, as much as 70 per cent of the land area is in agricultural use. Over a third of the global agricultural land area is in high-intensity, continuous cropping systems that use high levels of agrochemicals and reshape land and waterways. The rest is under such a farming system that uses far fewer inputs, but requires rela...

Identifying challenges for a productive and sustainable Open Source ecosystem

Open Source can be seen as an ecosystem in which all participants fulfil a role that keeps the equilibrium. When this equilibrium is altered, the ecosystem faces a challenge that can be overcome through specific countermeasures. We present a way to characterize the specific threats and identify possible countermeasures, as well as its effectiveness, using a risk analysis and handling the threat...
